The 12th Asia Clean Energy Forum took place in Manila, May 5-8 this year. It was held at the head office of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), which also was one of the organisers together with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Korea Energy Agency (KEA).
The extensive program was split between joint big plenary sessions, specialized smaller sessions and workgroups and covered topics like “Renewable Energy in Power System Planning”, “Benefits and Drivers of Energy Efficence” and “Job Creation from Renewable Energy Deployment”. During the coffee breaks in between, there were plenty of possibilities for networking.
This year for the first time, BNL Clean Energy visited this forum as a guest delegation. We are confident that the Zero Emission Zero Residue technology offered by our company will gain a lot of interest also in Asia, where the need for waste treatment and waste-to-energy solutions is a lot bigger than in Europe. The Asia Clean Energy Forum turned out to be a great platform for high profile networking so we obviously plan to come back next year.
