At BNL Clean Energy we wanted to find out how the Portuguese market sees our Zero Emission – Zero Residues concept for waste treatment, power generation and residue recycling. For this reason, we visited Portugal’s annual Green Business Week. This year, it was held March 1-3 in the exhibition centre Centro de Congressos in Lisbon.
The target of the fair and conference was to spread knowledge within three main areas: SmartCitiesLive (solutions for intelligent city planning), AcquaLiveExpo (water, waste and environmental issues) and EnergyLiveExpo (energy efficiency, renewables and climate change). Thanks to this, the organizers had managed to bring together more than 50 exhibitors ranging from private companies, via investigation centres and universities to public authorities and regulators.
In truth, we should admit that this was not the biggest or most well visited conference of this kind, which we have visited. Additionally, the focus was clearly set on the domestic audience, so almost all presentations were held in Portuguese. Having said that, we made a lot of fruitful contacts. At coming exhibitions we will for sure have a stand so that we can properly explain all unique features of our BNL Clean Energy plants. This time Lisbon received us with a wonderful warm spring weather so, as you will understand, we hope to be back very soon.
