Industrial Waste to Clean Energy
Industrial residues often have a high calorific value but as of today, manufacturing companies cannot benefit from this. Instead they have to pay fees for waste collection and treatment. With zero emission zero residue BNL Clean Energy plants on their own premises they can change this. Many production processes require for a lot of energy and simultaneously result in a lot of residue, not the least during test-runs or the start-up of the machines. Now theres is a local source of renewable green energy.
Wood industry and carpentry: Wood is great feedstock and a BNL Clean Energy plant can operate with it even if it contains glue, finish or metals (screws, nails, fittings etc). Mixes of different kinds of wood do not present any obstacles for our plants.
Pulp and paper mills: Apart from discarded goods, with a BNL Clean Energy plant mills can process fibre containing sludge and even toxic white and black liquour.
Board manufacturers: The production of wood chip, compound and parquet floor boards generates a lot of residue, but also requires a lot of energy for heating and drying. A BNL Clean Energy is the solution to both these challenges.
Packaging manufacturers and printhouses: A BNL Clean Energy plant processes also laminated, printed, plastified and compound residues.
Plastics manufacturing: Much of the residue in plastic factories can not be re-melt and re-used. For a BNL Clean Energy plant this residue constitutes a perfect feedstock with a very high calorific value.
Carbon fibre: Carbon fibres are used in more and more composite materials, eg. in the car industry. Until now these have been very difficult to recycle, but they are ideal feedstock for BNL Clean Energy plants.
Insulation materials: Many insulation and protection materials can be used to generate renewable energy with a BNL Clean Energy plant.
Textile manufacturing: A BNL Clean Energy plant can process all kinds of residue from the textile industry, including dyes and printed or laminated fibres.
Food industry: The food industry is surrounded by strict regulations which tend to increase the amounts of residue. Expiry dates, incorrect temperatures, contamination or recipy mistakes will render food unsellable, but obviously do not deteriorate its calorific value. With a BNL Clean Energy plant these residues become a resource, not only waste. This is of course valid also for peels, vegetable left-overs, shells or offal and bones from slaughterhouses and broiler factories.
Car and truck garages: Larger car garages can use a BNL Clean Energy plant to recuperate the calorific value of residues like plastic waste, used textiles, sludge from car washing and all types of oil, eg. hydraulic oil.
Construction industry: With a BNL Clean Energy plant construction companies can treat all kinds of organic waste, including plastic window and door frames, glue, foam, insulation and discarded tarpaulins.
Hotels and resorts: With a BNL Clean Energy plant major resorts and hotels can generate their own electricity, heating and cooling from the residues generated when they serve their customers.
