According to our plans, in 2018 we will see the first BNL Clean Energy plants going fully operational. For this reason, we decided begin the year with a high profile event – a Clean Energy Apéro at the Steigenberger Grandhotel Belvédère in Davos, Switzerland.
Since we held it only one day before the opening of this year’s World Economic Forum, we managed to fill up the Ducan hall. This gave us a unique opportunity to match our team of experts with a broad spectrum of CEOs, academics and other interesting guests.
Not surprisingly, the highlight of the evening was our President and CEO Mr. Mikael Rüdlinger’s presentation of the Zero Emission Zero Residue BNL Clean Energy technology. As a matter of fact, he had to repeat his speech, because we had visitors arriving also late in the evening.
To broaden up the scope of the Apéro, our guests were also offered alternative interesting perspectives by external keynote speakers: Eleonora Quizmolli from X’TIGE PR, Suzanna Vock from the GWAND Sustainable Fashion Festival and Tobias Meier from Ecos – all covering different aspects of how the fashion industry can benefit from BNL Clean Energy solutions for waste management as well as energy generation.
It should be added that the Clean Energy Apéro in a way was a success against the odds. Rarely has Davos had so much snow falling in so few hours, as we saw on the Sunday and Monday before the World Economic Forum. This caused big logistic challenges for our personnel, but they proved to possess a great degree of flexibility and an impressive team spirit.
We want to thank all you who visited or helped out to organise the 2018 Clean Energy Apéro and already look forward to coming back again next year.
