For the second year in a row, BNL Clean Energy took part at the exhibition Pol-Eco Systems – the international trade fair of environmental protection. In the fields of waste management, wind and solar power, energy storage or water cleaning, this is the biggest annual exhibition in Central Eastern Europe. This year Pol-Eco Systems took place October 17-19, as usual in the Poznań International Fair (Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie), Poland. Simultaneously, the Polish government organised the conference EkoSfera at the same venue.
BNL Clean Energy had the privilege of having a stand in the most central location of the exhibition grounds; in hall 5A, next to the connection to hall 5. For this reason, it was easy for us to reach our target groups. We received visitors from authorities responsible for the treatment of municipal solid waste (MSW), from major logistic platforms, as well as from the meat industry and paper mills. Some of them where public entities, but the majority were private companies. What they shared was a common challenge: how to convert residues or waste into a resource.
Our company’s emission free waste-to-energy technology received a lot of positive attention and many new leads to follow up on. Having said that, this year’s edition was not as impressive as last year, when we had to re-print our catalogues in spite of having a much less attractive stand location. Possibly it is time for the organisers to re-think the format in order to further build the brand name of Pol-Eco Systems.
